Wolfram Alpha- Not a Google Killer, but a Lover

Wolfram Alpha is a new computational website where the user can search through an extreme amount of various data to find the answer to complex questions in just seconds. For example if you were interested in knowing the difference in height between the Sears Tower and the Empire State Building you were simply enter “Sears Tower height vs Empire State Building”. Another example of a data search would be “Steven vs Clinton”, where you can compare my name with my brothers. The practicality of having such data at your finger tips is tremendous, as parents might want to compare various names for their expected children or a brother might want to frivolously flaunt data in a meaningless manner.

Wolfram Alpha is not a Google Killer, but a complement to the existing Google services. Many people are unaware that Google also offers some computational services, but nothing similar in the manor that Wolfram Alpha does. Check the links below out for yourself and tell me what you think. To get a better understanding how one can use Wolfram Alpha watch the video tutorial that is linked below. You will quickly understand that this is not even trying to be a Google as the website never directs to another web page, yet simply displays the data on the same page that you are already on in an easy to read minimalistic manor. Wolfram Alpha is already a giant in the world of easy access informational websites. The three online informational giants are now: Google, Wikipedia, and Wolfram Alpha. The public has never had so much information at their fingertips before.
